| We are innovative leaders in frozen food
convenience and our story began in 1976 when three local entrepreneurs
first
introduced
the British public to the Grillsteak. Business rapidly grew and,
within just a few years, to meet ever growing demand, production
was moved to our purpose-built factory at Leeming Bar, Northallerton. |
| Going from strength to strength, in 1980, Dalepak became the
very first manufacturer of frozen vegetable based burger/grills,
and our Cauliflower Cheese Grills and Vegetable Grills soon became
market leaders. |
| In 1998, Dalepak joined the Northern Foods Group, leading to
a major capital investment programme to upgrade the whole site.
In the Summer of 2000, we invested in state of the art flame
grilled technology, providing our customers with the 'burger
bar' authenticity at home and this Summer have seen completion
of our latest stage in the programme, which includes the replacement
of our entire freezing system. |
| Over the last four years, we will have invested around £5
million, creating a state of the art frozen food facility, securing
the long-term futures of our 324 employees and ensuring that
we remain at the forefront of frozen food technology. |
| As well as our popular Dalepak brand we also hold the licence
for the Ross brand, a recognised and trusted household name in
burgers and grills. |
